Located near the beautiful Columbia River Gorge in
Goldendale, Washington, Sunset Valley Ranch has
been dedicated to the production of quality registered
miniature horses and miniature schnauzer dogs since
1989.
Owners Jim and Dorothy Walter have selected
breeding horses with an eye toward the traditional
world of competition driving. SVR has proudly
produced show ring champions, pleasure driving
horses, and companion horses for young folks and
old.
We select our Mini Schnauzers to conform closely to
breed standards, but equally important is the gentle
temperament of our dogs, in order that they will be the
best possible pets and companions.
